Bournemouth Attacker Justin Kluivert has returned from international duty early after suffering injury.
Currently sitting in 9th after a positive start to the Premier League season, fans of The Cherries are sure to be disappointed after Dutchman Justin Kluivert was confirmed to have taken a knock during Friday’s match against Poland. Substituted in the 74th minute, The Dutch National Team posted an update via their social media channels confirming the forward was unavailable to play against Lithuania and had returned to Bournemouth on the same morning.
Although it is currently unclear how long Kluivert will be out for, Bournemouth fans will hope that the attacker will be able to return as soon as possible and find form in the Premier League during a season he has struggled for game time, making 4 starts and scoring 1 goal.
A regular fixture from the bench this season, Kluivert has yet to find the form he showed during the 2024/25 season where he scored 12 goals and made 6 assists, with a injury hampered pre season seemingly affecting the Dutchman.
AFC Bournemouth are next in action at home against struggling West Ham United on the 22nd November, when Kluivert will target a return to the team.
